Description

FISHTECS presents our latest installation for processing rainbow trout. We can modified the solution to customer process. 


FIFO: Works as First in First out principle with full control of the entire process.


Shelf life: Efficient bleeding and chilling of trout will preserve freshness and improve shelf live.


Yield: Efficiently chilling of fish will provide raw material that can give higher processing yield.


Super chilling: The possibility to chill the fish to sub-zero temperature will further enhance above benefits due to higher water holding

capacity and reduce use of ice in the value chain.


The Process and Performance


Performance are guidelines only. The actual capacity varies of factors, such as; actual

size of the fish, temperature, stress level, fat and water content, temperature of the

water, fish density in the tank, etc.


Large Fish Line


The system consists of 2 x 6m³ Spiral Chillers that are installed in-line. The first tank is

used for bleeding/chilling and the second for chilling. Speed and temperature of two

tanks can be adjusted separately.

- Inlet fish temperature 10°C

- Target temperature, -1°C in the tail

- Fish density in the tank 40%

- Expected time of the fish in first tank 75 minutes @ 5°C

- Expected time in second tank 75 minutes @ -3°C.

- Estimated capacity 2000 kg/h

- Target temperature, -1°C in the tail


Small fish line


The system consists of 12m³ tank for chilling.

- Inlet fish temperature 10°C

- Target temperature, -1°C in the tail

- Fish density in the tank 40%

- Chilling time c.a. 120 min@ -3°C

- Estimated capacity 2200 kg/h
